Batting Cage Terms and Conditions
Welcome to The LAB 406. By booking a batting cage, you (“Renter” or “User”) agree to the following terms, conditions, and safety rules.
1. Booking, Cancellation, and Payment
- Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
- Cancellations: Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 3 hours in advance to receive a refund or credit.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 3 hours of the scheduled time are non-refundable.
- No-Shows: If you do not show up for your booked time, you will be charged for the full session.
2. Safety and Usage Rules
- Helmets: Helmets are mandatory for all batters inside the cages.
- Equipment: Only regulation baseballs/softballs, or those provided by The LAB 406, are permitted. No outside balls allowed.
- Footwear: No metal cleats allowed; only sneakers or turf shoes are permitted.
- Capacity: Only one batter and one coach are permitted inside the cage at a time. All other participants must wait outside the netting.
- Conduct: No horseplay, swinging bats outside of the nets, or foul language allowed.
3. Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk
- Assumption of Risk: The user understands that using a batting cage involves risks, including being struck by fast-moving balls or bats, which can cause serious injury.
- Liability Release: The user agrees to release The LAB 406, its employees, and owners from any liability, claims, or damages resulting from injuries or accidents.
- Property Damages: The Renter is responsible for any damage to the facility or equipment caused by themselves or their guests.
- Medical Treatment: In the event of injury, the user authorizes The LAB 406 to secure emergency medical treatment.
4. Facility Rules
- Smoking/Drugs: Smoking, vaping, alcohol, and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
- Food/Drink: No food, gum, or sunflower seeds are allowed inside the cage areas.
- Supervision: Children under [e.g.] must be supervised by an adult at all times.
5. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of Montana, USA.
