  • Where are the batting cages?

    Our indoor facility is located at 156 Wildcat Wy in Bozeman, Montana. We are open to access passes & coaches Monday-Thursday, and open to the publics/walk in’s on the weekends!
  • When are the batting cages open?

    The Lab 406 is open Friday from 3pm-10pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12PM-10pm.
    Member hours additionaly include Monday-Thursday from 3pm to 9pm.

  • What are batting cages?

    Our local indoor batting cages provide a 60 foot cage with a complimentary L Screen, Tee, and pitching machine. Utilize the cages for training, or for recreational entertainment with friends and family!
  • How much do batting cages cost?

    Pricing at the Lab 406 is Dependent on the amount of cages, the time slot, and the type of access pass you purchase. You can rent a cage for as low as $35 on weekends!

    Batting cages are a great source for active recreational entertainment. A batting cage rental has a similar feel to going bowling with friends or playing a round of mini golf!
  • Are batting cages a good exercise?

    Absolutely! Taking a round of swings is great exercise focusing on explosive movements, balance, and stamina.
  • Are batting cages bad for bats?

    Pitching machines can wear down the lifespan of a bat; however, high quality bats are built to have more shock absorbance, making them more durable for the machine balls! The Lab 406 offers rentable equipment to utilize and avoid any bat damage!
  • Are batting cages dangerous?

    Batting cages can be safe if proper precautions are taken, but like any activity, they do carry some risks. To stay safe, always follow safety instructions, wear appropriate gear (like a helmet), and be mindful of your surroundings.
